Additional Information needed to process International Orders

All International Orders are shipped with UPS. Orders must be placed online, in order for us to receive the exact spelling of your name, address etc. All international orders are sent to a physical address, not a P.O. Box.

When you place your order online at:
http://www.manukahoneyusa.com/SecureShopping.htm, there is a comment box that says "Comments / Special Shipping Instructions". Inside this box place a Note with the following additional information.

  • Correct and complete Day Time Phone Number including the Country Code, City Code and Phone Number. If you do not know your Country Phone Code, call your International Operator, they can supply that information for you, or look it up in your local phone book.
     
  • Correct and complete Phone Number of your Credit Card Company in order for us to verify that your Name matches with the Name on the Credit Card. Without a 100% Correct Name and Address Match, your order will not be shipped. We take these extra precautious steps, in order to protect you from wide-spread Internet Fraud.
     
  • The Correct and Complete Phone Number of your Bank (the bank with which you have the credit card).

Comment:
As you are well aware, we MUST verify that the information you supply to us, is correct and true. We will NOT ship our products to people who are trying to place an order with stolen credit cards, commit fraud transactions, or try to place an order with credit card numbers retrieved from hacking activities. Our strict procedures for International Orders protect you, the consumer. With these extra safe and enforced guidelines in place, nobody can use your credit card and try to buy products from us - period.

How do we ship International Orders?

Most International Orders are shipped via UPS. With UPS, the orders are trackable and insured. Please note, we do not ship for profit, we ship as a service to you.

Does the 'Grand Total Amount' include Shipping when placing an International Order?

No. The online "Shipping Amount" reflects the amount if the package is shipped within the United States. When we receive your international order, we will look up UPS rates to ship the package to your country, and we will adjust the total amount accordingly. Where UPS rates are substantially higher than U.S. Mail rates, we will consider shipping with U.S. Mail.

Please note, your credit card is charged offline, the day we process your order. The UPS shipping amount is determined by the weight and destination of your package, and the total amount will be adjusted accordingly.

International Orders $ 100 minimum Order Amount required:

We require a $ 100.00 minimum Order Amount for International Orders. The Product Total must be $ 100.00, not including Shipping Amount. Why? When  you purchase items for $ 100.00, not only will you receive a 10% Discount on All Products, but the shipping amount will make much more sense.

If you were to purchase for example just 1 small, light-weight item, you will end up paying 4-6 times more for shipping, than for the item itself. When you are planning to place an order, we recommend to include the needs of family members and friends, who may also benefit from our natural products, there are so many uses for Manuka Products.

Some Countries have Honey Embargos and further Restrictions regarding sending you any type of bee product, including bees, honey, bees wax, medicine or medicinal products.

We ship all our products worldwide. However, some countries may have a Honey Embargo and further Restrictions to which we can no longer ship. Also keep in mind, that rules, regulations and restrictions to importing our products into your country - can CHANGE! If in the past, we have shipped our products to you, and you have received them safely, that does not necessarily mean, that a couple of months later, the same rules still apply.

So before placing an International Order, please check First with your local customs officials, so you will not be disappointed, if you do not receive your package - even though you may have ordered from us for many years in the past.

Your package can be inspected and confiscated by customs at any time, all depending on how the customs officials inspect your package, interpret their rules, regulations and restrictions. Manuka Honey USA can not be held liable for customs rules, regulations and restrictions in your country, and does not issue a refund for lost, stolen or confiscated packages - no exceptions.

When you place an order with us, you automatically agrees to our "Terms & Conditions" and special instructions regarding "International Orders". Our website is an integral part of our "Order / Information Sheet" that we include  inside every package.

At our website, every customer is made fully aware of the potential risk of not receiving a package at all, and is willing to take 100% of the risk. This is the reason, why most packages are shipped with UPS vs. U.S. Mail. With UPS, the risk of not receiving a package is greatly minimized to almost non-existent, due to excellent UPS service, trackability and insurance.

How can I know, if my country will allow me to import products from Manuka Honey USA?

  • Check with your local post office first. Ask them for a list of items prohibited or restricted to importing into your country or get a basic idea at:

    - select a destination from the drop down menu:
      for example FRANCE
    - at the bottom left hand side of this page, select "Related Links"
     
    and click on "International Country Listings"
    - in this example, select FRANCE
    - read all the rules, restrictions and guidelines of importing
       products into FRANCE

     
  • Contact your local customs officials and double check on the rules, regulations and restrictions given to you by your local post office supervisor

Following is a list of the types of products that are now limited or restricted to sending to France in our example:

- bees
- honey (honey can only be shipped if UNDER 2kg)
- beeswax
- medicines
- medicinal products (require an import license)


The same restrictions that apply to
France, also apply to Corsica, Monaco and possibly other countries.
Again, to search for information on products you are allowed to import into your country, please go through the above mentioned 2 steps.

Which Countries have honey embargos and import restrictions?

We ship all our products world-wide. Please Note Exceptions!
Following is a partial list of countries we can NOT ship to for various reasons:

Some countries may have a honey embargo, strict customs controls, customs regulations and border controls, that do not allow us to ship our products to you. Some of those countries are: South Africa, Swaziland, Botswana, Lesotho, Tobago, Trinidad, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Brazil, Jamaica, Western Australia, Singapore, Nigeria, Morroco and possibly other countries.

Please note, some countries mentioned above are on this list, because we have experienced a very HIGH RISK of attempted FRAUD TRANSACTIONS. We are no longer willing to deal with such known high risk countries.

Do you accept Returns from International Destinations?

We do not accept any returns from a foreign country for any reason at all.  Please further note, that we do not accept any returns based on complaints that "customs charges were too high" or any other similar "petty reasons". If you wish to receive our products, it will cost you more, to import them into your country.

We do NOT know how much customs will charge you, you will need to contact Customs directly. Some countries charge a "brokerage fee" in addition to a "customs fee". Manuka Honey USA only charges you for the products ordered (minus discount - if applicable), and shipping charges.

Also, if your package is lost, stolen, or otherwise not received or fully covered by UPS Insurance, the risk is 100% yours. If UPS does not reimburse us for any type of loss, confiscation, partial delivery of package or any other type of damage, Manuka Honey USA will not be able to reimburse you either. We have been shipping with UPS since 1994, and our experience with UPS is very professional, friendly and reliable.

Please make sure that someone IS at home to sign and receive your package. If, after 1,2, or 3 attempted deliveries by UPS, the package is returned to us, we will charge you for return shipment costs and we will re-deliver the package to you charging you for all fees including, but not limited to, customs fees, brokerage fees, return shipment fees and cost to re-ship the package to you - so please, make sure, that someone IS at home to receive and sign for your package in order to avoid additional expenses...

The good news is, that most packages do arrive safely. Manuka Honey USA has been serving it's world-wide clientele since 1994.

Late Arrivals

MANUKA HONEY USA is not the shipper, therefore we can not issue a refund, if your world-wide express package is delivered a day or more late, due to severe weather conditions, custom hold-ups or any other types of delays - absolutely no exceptions. UPS also can not be held responsible for late deliveries of an  international shipment, due to the same reasons listed above. UPS does not control customs activities in your country - they simply deliver packages.

Can you e-mail me a UPS shipping quote?

Yes! Simply e-mail us at (manuka@manukahoneyusa.com) with your full intended order. Please let us know how many items you need of each product, so we can determine the weight of your package and your complete physical address. You will receive your quote within 24-72 hours during Regular Business Hours (MO-FR 10-4pm).
