Orders to Canada are shipped with UPS. Orders must be placed online, in order for us to receive the exact spelling of your name, address, apartment, suite or floor number etc. If you wish to have your package shipped to your place of work, UPS requires the Name of the Business - or your package could be returned to us - at your expense for "incomplete address". Orders to Canada are shipped via UPS Worldship Expedited in order to be truly trackable and insured. (U.S. Mail does NOT insure our products!) The UPS Worldship Expedited service includes the "Brokerage Fee" (a fee charged to drop off a package on the other side of the border). You may still be responsible for a "Customs Fee", anytime you import an item into Canada. It is up to Canada if they will charge you a customs fee for the products imported or not - to find out, contact your local customs officials. Please note, we do not ship for profit, we ship as a service to you.
Regarding Shipping Amount?
When you place your order online, as required by Manuka Honey USA, the shipping amount may seem to be high. That is because online you see the UPS Retail Rates - however, when we process your order, we will adjust the shipping amount accordingly.
Manuka Honey USA is a "UPS Preferred Customer" since 1994, which means that we receive "preferred rates". As we do not wish to "make a profit" with shipping, we actually share and apply our "PREFERRED UPS RATES" with our Canadian neighbors. In most cases, the shipping amount comes down to almost half the listed price online.
If you wish to receive the adjusted and correct shipping amount before placing your order, feel free to email us at: manuka@manukahoneyusa.com. In order to quote you the exact amount for shipping, we will need your full physical address and your entire order in an email so we can weigh your package and get the exact shipping rates to your physical address.
You will still need to place your order online, in order for us to process your order 100% correct without any spelling errors. Once we process your order, the difference between UPS "retail" and our "preferred" UPS Rates will be credited back to your credit card. A shipping refund is applies to most orders, depending on if you live near a large city where UPS delivers daily or if you live in a more remote area.
Does the 'Grand Total Amount' include Shipping to Canada?
The "grand total amount" should include the shipping amount to Canada, if the order was placed properly online. However, if a "technical error" should occur with the shopping cart system for any reason, we will still charge you the actual amount for UPS Worldwide Expedited shipping from our zip codes to yours.
Again, we share our "UPS Preferred Rates" with our Canadian neighbors - as we do not wish to "make a profit" with shipping. We ship as a service to you, so you can enjoy our high quality medicinal products in Canada.

Please note, we do require a $ 100 order minimum in order to make it worthwhile for you to receive our products. If one were to purchase just 1 small item, such as lip balm, one would still be charged the amount for shipping for the 1st full pound.
It therefore makes sense to carefully plan an order together with family, friends, neighbors and/or co-workers. Not only will other people start benefiting from manuka honey products, but it will also make it worth the while regarding the shipping amount - which you know by now - that we share our "UPS Preferred Rates".
Does Canada have a "honey embargo" or any other restrictions?
As import rules change on a continual basis, it makes sense to check with your local post office or customs officials and ask if they have a list of items that Canada has an embargo for, or restricts the amount you can import in 1 shipment. Please check first, as we do not accept returns from Canada, not do we refund your money. You will only receive a refund from UPS, if your package was damaged in transit.
Do you accept Returns from orders shipped to Canada?
No, we do not accept returns. This is why we encourage you to carefully place your order online and in writing. Supply us with your full, correct and valid physical address including apartment, suite and floor numbers and business name if applicable, in order to help us avoid any miss-deliveries or other circumstances.
Late Arrivals?
We do not refund money for late arrivals - even if you paid extra to have your order shipped faster that UPS Worldwide Expedited. If you live in a fairly remote area in Canada, not even UPS will "guarantee" on-time delivery - as in some areas, UPS deliveries are made by small planes, boats or other means of transportation - and if the last ferry has left for the day - even a expedited package can arrive 1 or 2 days later for which neither UPS nor Manuka Honey USA will refund any money. So please plan your orders well in advance to allow the necessary time for delivery.
